For many of us, with the Curly Roof Van and many other heritage lost artefacts having been recreated, the one large omission, along with perhaps the pig waggon (a story for another day), is a bogie ballast waggon. In the details - a recent project funded by the Heritage Group was to change the buffing heads on the chopper couplings of the Simplex from the standard circular design to rectangular to match the shape of its original couplings.
