DESCRIPTION:While the railway in general is still in Lockdown\, one event which IS now scheduled to happen is the return to steam of Welsh Pony. After 80 years at rest\, the team are targeting Saturday 27th June for the first steaming. \nYou’ll be able to follow events on the day from 10am via the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways Insider page on Facebook\, or via the company website. The image below from the group’s Facebook page shows the engine with new\, newly fitted whistles\, with the old dome – sadly no longer usable on the cab roof.
