Webcams

This is a relatively new idea for both gricers and prospective passengers, and a marrying of latest technology for the promotion of an age old technology.
- Images were first broadcast from Porthmadog (WHR) Station in May 2004
- Images were first broadcast from Gelerts Farm WHR(P) in August 2004
- Images were first broadcast from Cnicht Camera WHR(P) in March 2005
- Images were first broadcast from WHR(C) in May 2006
There are currently a number cameras operational. Harbour expanded its service slowly after the WHR(P), with first 1, then 2, and finally 3 cameras. Unfortunately, following support problems, currently only one is operational, but this will improve shortly. The sole WHR(C) camera operated for about 3 weeks in May 2006, and may return shortly.
