Fairlie Engine And Steam Carriage Company

George England's Works went out of business in 1869 and became the Fairlie Engine & Steam Carriage Company Limited. Under this new name, in 1869 Little Wonder was built at George England's Hatcham Iron Works, South London - the same works where the single England engines were built for the FR.
