This is the name given to the project to link the Festiniog and the WHR through the streets of Porthmadog from the Cambrian Crossing to Harbour Station - hence the term

The CTRL replaces the Junction Railways, built in 1923, and which formerly linked the two railways through the town, though not along the same route.
Since this area is a work in progress, and to avoid duplication please refer to these sites, both voluntarily run and regularly updated -
