Between October 1954 and March 1958,
prior to the introduction of the FR Magazine, the Society

including contemporary photographs. The last few copes
remain available at £12.00. Do not delay if you still want a
copy - there will be no second batch.

anniversary of the FR Company. £7.00 each.
REVISED, MILLENIUM
EDITION, FESTINIOG RAILWAY CHRONOLOGY
Available on CD-ROM or floppy disk the
FR Chronology now covers virtually the whole of the 19th and
20th centuries, although events of earlier times are, of
necessity, recorded in less detail. An index for the FR
Magazine listing all major articles, illustrations,
portraits, obituaries, correspondence and book reviews is
included, together with a detailed gazetteer of the route.
The price of either version (3 disks or 1 CD) is £12.
Holders of earlier editions should
apply for details of an upgrade.

by Peter Johnson is an A5 booklet containing a series of
articles originally published in the FR Magazine with
contributions from historians Michael Seymour & Michael

full account, with accompanying photographs, by Philip
Vaughan Davies of his involvement with the FR during the
period of the ‘takeover’ in 1954-55, together with a series
of photographs of the derelict railway, taken in 1954 by
John Snell. £2.00 each.

FOR BOYD’S BIBLE
Jim Hewett and Keith Bradbury have
compiled this extended index to the 1975 edition, and
subsequent reprints, of Boyd’s Bible. Sorting is by subject
and the list runs to 48 A5 pages, rather more than the one
in the book! A real bargain at £5.00 each.
The same team have done a similar job
for the earlier editions of Boyd as well. Though it is not
as large it is still good value at £2.50, only limited
numbers have been printed.

paper, of the three line engravings in Robert Fairlie’s book
Battle of the Gauges Renewed. Ideal for framing, £2.00 per
set of three.
