A third day of glorious trains in glorious weather.

Different combinations of stock and locos but the same classic scenes available, and much variety.

 

The scene at Port early in the morning as Merddin waits to leave with the slate train, flanked by vintage carriage sets The view from the front, as Merddin simmers, waiting to leave The view from the train as Merddin takes the slate train over Cei Mawr - a true trip back in time

Merddin Emrys sits in the up line at Tan-y-Grisiau, having left the slate train at the Summit David Lloyd George passes through Rhiw Goch with the Victorian vintage set Merddin Emrys heads for Porthmadog with a short flying flea train

With the Colonel Stephens 1920s vintage set, the mixed train prepares to leave Porthmadog behind Merddin Emrys And heads across the Cob And heads for Dduallt where the slate wagons will be dropped off

New build Lyd pilots Blanche on the service train, approaching Rhiw Goch Taliesin rolls down in glorious sunshine, with the Garraway vintage set Moelwyn passes through Rhiw Goch with a down slate empties train

The Garraway set makes a return appearance, this time behind David Lloyd George on 100mph straight The Colonel Stephens set sits in the afternoon sun at Porthmadog Double engines David Lloyd George and Merddin Emrys at Porthmadog
